In 1995 I graduated from Western Maryland College and traveled to Atlanta, GA to pursue the study of sports massage. At that point in time Atlanta was preparing to host the 1996 Summer Olympics. I had the great opportunity to study under many massage therapists that worked with Professional and Olympic athletes. I have been practicing massage since graduating from the Atlanta School of Massage in 1997. Along with massage I had been a practicing Certified Athletic Trainer and Strength and Conditioning Specialist. In 1998 I decided to advance my education and enter into graduate school to obtain a Masters Degree in Exercise Science and Adult Health at Bloomsburg University. While in school I continued to practice as a massage therapist and athletic trainer with the University athletic teams. My graduate thesis was completed in 2001 and based on the study of The Effects of Massage Therapy on Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness. I now reside in Bloomsburg, PA with my wife and our three children.
